A Synopsis of Windows Server 2022
The Desktop Experience and Server Core installation choices for the Datacenter and Standard editions are included in this window. Tamper and reputation-based protection, two security features seen in the current Windows 10 release (20H2), are now present in Windows Server 2022.
Bitlocker keys and other security data are stored by its TPM. Simultaneously, Secure Boot verifies that a rootkit hasn’t compromised the signatures of all boot software, including the operating system, EFI apps, and UEFI firmware.
Furthermore, to prevent credential attacks (such as Pass-the-Hash and Mimikatz), virtualization-based security, or VBS, uses hardware virtualization, which is based on Hyper-V technology but should not be thought of as a distinct virtual machine (VM), but rather as an isolated portion of the OS’s memory space.
